 Guru Manoranjan Pradhan was trained at the Orissa Dance Academy in India under Guru Gangadhar Pradhan. He completed his Masters degree in Odissi dance at Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. Guru Pradhan has undergone rigorous training under Padma Bibhushan Kelucharan Mohapatra at the Odissi Research Center as well.
Guru Pradhan has had numerous live performances and TV programs in India and abroad. He has spent many years performing and teaching in Canada, Mexico and the United States and has had performances in Germany, Italy, Croatia and England. Guru Pradhan has toured in the USA with Ralph Lemon's "Tree", with a company of dancers and musicians from all over the world. |

| Guru Pradhan served as a guest lecturer in Odissi dance at Stanford University and is currently the Principal of the Orissa Dance Academy and a Guest Lecturer at the Utkal Sangeet Mahavidyalaya. |
